A medium-bodied, well-balanced red with bright cherry, spiced-plum, dried-herb and licorice notes. Spicy. Lightly chewy tannins. Fresh and delicious finish. Blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot. Second wine of Monteverro. Really delicious already.

This is so focused and driven, with aromas of blackberries, black olives, chili chocolate, bay leaves and peppercorns. Some iodine, too. Full-bodied, yet agile and fresh, with a firm, tight tannin frame. Solid.

Tinata 2018, Vinous

The 2018 Tinata (70% Syrah, 30% Grenache) is super expressive right our of the gate. Soaring aromatics meld into a core of dark red/blue fruit, with hints of tobacco, dried herbs, liquoriceand spice that develop later. A wine of understated depth, the Tinata is impressive in this tasting.

Monteverro 2018, Vinous

The 2018 Monteverro is classy, elegant and polished. Lifted aromatics and silky tannins frame this decidedly understated Maremma red. Crushed flowers, spice, menthol, liquorice, lavender and dried herbs are all finely laced together. This is such an engaging wine.

Terra di Monteverro 2018, Falstaff

Tiefdunkles Rubinrot mit Granatreflexen. Feiner Duft nach reifen Waldbeeren, Pflaumenröster, feiner Mokka und Zartbitterschokolade, im Nachhall feine Röstaromen und Minze. Spannt sich wohlig über den Gaumen, zeigt sich feingliedrig verwoben im Tannin, kraftvoller Ansatz, zieht sich jedoch mit Schliff in die Länge, gutes Potenzial.

Aromas of blackberries, blueberries and light tar follow through to a full body with firm, chewy tannins that are polished and very pretty. Racy and intense. Solid and beautiful.

Tinata 2018, Falstaff

Kraftvolles, funkelndes Rubinviolett. Eröffnet mit kühl-würzigen Noten, etwas Geranienblatt, dazu frische Zwetschken. Am Gaumen klare und präsente Frucht, griffiges Tannin von schönem Schmelz ummantelt, im Nachhall satt nach Brombeere und würzigem Unterholz.
